My family and I spent a couple of nights at the Denali Highway Cabins in early August. Our host was wonderful, the cabins really wonderful, and the location was in one of my favorite parts of Alaska. Our beds were super comfortable, and everything spotlessly clean. During the day we spent time hiking and sightseeing along the Denali just to the west of us. Beautiful scenery with plenty of active beavers, including a group of three beavers building their dam. I'd totally recommend Denali Highway Cabins to any travelers. Excellent cabin with everything you need to recover from hiking, boating etc in the Tangle Lakes area. The complimentary breakfast was good and had a good selection. Quiet! Totally closed. No gas While not writing a review, this is an important travel advisory that the closest gas in the winter here is either in Delta Junction about 90 miles to the north, or Meiers Lake Roadhouse 15 miles to the south at MP170. Plan accordingly. Very unfriendly office personnel.
